Griptex Additive – Quart

Griptex Additive Marine Flooring & Boat Decking Materials

The Griptex Additive is available in gallon and quart sizes, designed to enhance the slip resistance of Awlgrip paint applications. It is formulated for use in marine flooring and boat decking installations, providing a reliable solution for safety in wet conditions.

Compatibility & Applications

• Mixes with Awlgrip for improved surface traction.
• Applies to fiberglass, wood, and metal surfaces.
• Mounts on boat decks, ramps, and walkways.
• Wires to marine paint systems for enhanced performance.
• Replaces traditional anti-slip additives in marine coatings.
• Fits various boat sizes, including yachts and fishing vessels.
• Compatible with both fresh and saltwater environments.

The unit improves safety on slippery surfaces, particularly in wet marine environments. It provides a textured finish that enhances grip without compromising aesthetics. For example, when applied to a yacht’s deck, it significantly reduces slip risks during boarding and disembarking, differentiating itself from generic anti-slip additives by maintaining the visual appeal of the underlying paint. This product is particularly advantageous for commercial vessels that require enhanced safety protocols on their decks.
